what are solar panels
Solar panels are devices that are specifically manufactured to transfer light into readily and usable electricity. The term “solar” is used in reference to the Sun, because most of energy being transfer into electricity is the light projected by the Sun. Solar panels help maintain a clean environment and when solar panels gather the sunlight and convert it energy, it is classified as “renewable energy”.
Defined, “renewable energy” means energy that is generated from a natural resource and in reference to solar panels, renewable energy from the Sun. Renewable engery means that the resource naturally replenishes itself without the help of humans. After collecting sunlight, the panels convert the energy into electricity. The surface of each panel is composed of solar cells, or photovoltaic cells.
